“Create Your Own Startup – From Idea to Launch” Event Empowers Young Entrepreneurs in Tetouan

Tetouan, November 14, 2024 – The Faculty of Sciences in Tetouan successfully hosted the event “Create Your Own Startup – From Idea to Launch”, bringing together students, young graduates, and industry experts to inspire entrepreneurship and foster innovation. Held at the Faculty’s Conference Hall, this event was part of Abdelmalek Essaadi University’s commitment to engaging with the socio-economic environment and promoting self-employment among youth.

The event provided participants with practical tools, actionable insights, and expert guidance to transform innovative ideas into viable startup ventures. It emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth in the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.

Attendees explored a variety of critical entrepreneurial topics, including:

• Understanding the fundamentals of startups.

• Conducting market validation.
• Developing market entry strategies.
• Accessing funding opportunities and support programs.

A highlight of the event was the 2-hour intensive workshop titled “Building Your Business Model”, conducted by experts from ANAPEC. This hands-on session enabled participants to design sustainable business models tailored to their projects.

AI-IoT Club Certification Initiative

Members of the AI-IoT Club (Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things) were given the opportunity to enhance their entrepreneurial credentials by completing a 15-minute online test on the Moodle platform. Successful participants earned a certificate of participation, reflecting their dedication to developing entrepreneurial skills.
